And to be very frank, Solopreneurship is not something like climbing the moon.

So, without wasting your precious time; Let's get jump into it.

Who is a Solopreneur?

Solopreneur is someone who executes, manages, runs a business all on their own, without partnering with anyone else. They are the sole proprietor of their business. People often misinterpreted Solopreneur as Self-employed. Honestly speaking, that's not the case; instead, you can refer to a Solopreneur as a lone-wolf of the entrepreneurs. That's completely fine to put this in that way, but this acronym suits more prominent and dramatic.

Now, when you have the idea who the heck a solopreneur is. You might think that it may be a challenging profession to pursue. If that strikes your head, my fellow entrepreneur, then let me tell you it's something so easy like a walk in the park. Let's drive into the process, and you also get why it's a piece of cake and gulp it step by step -

Step by Step Guide to Becoming a Solopreneur from Scratch

Step-1 Find Your Why: You might hear about Simon Sinek's Golden Circle framework. If you want me to brief it in its simplest form, then I must quote that your customer is buying your product or services for your W-H-Y; they care less about WHAT and HOW. Moreover, W-H-Y gives the strength, mission, vision, values, principles and every building block required to stack up a strong empire. (Almost everything you needed to build your successful business portfolio)

Step-2 Find a Mentor: Now, when you are crystal clear with your WHY, start learning from the people who have done it before. Markkula and Campbell mentored Steve Jobs himself. If you are in a 9 to 5 job, you can also attend weekend internships programs.

Social media like LinkedIn gives you the exposure to build and expand your network what we elaborate next on. On the other hand, you also get to meet with professionals like CEOs, MDs, Investors, Founders and their ideas and visions.

Step-3 Planning is the key: Do you know a well-made business plan can extend up to 30% of chances to grow your business and doubled it? A report shows that almost 90% of startup ventures fail within five years due to a lack of planning.

There is no doubt that Content is the King, but you need a queen to protect your King with strategies similar to a game of chess. Planning is that tool of your arsenal which places your next move. At least a layman we recommended before you starting up and scaling up.

Step-4 Strat Execution: The validation of any such planning lies in its implementation. A wise man said, and I quote, most people failed not because they didn't deserve to succeed; they failed because they hadn't tried it. Startup from today, make mistakes, learn from them, and climb up the staircase of your success.

Step-5 Scaling up Your Business: Most of the Solopreneur repeat the same mistakes due to their nature; it's understandable. They tried to do everything all on their own, which is not possible to a certain extent. You have to consider and balance things like business.

Likewise, you can hire remote employees or Freelancers for various work from time to time. You have to focus on your Marketing strategies while scaling up. Because building Brand-Image is very important- People buy emotionally and then justify logically.

Last year isn't the year we thought it would be. But the global pandemic also teaches us there is no such thing as Job Security that exists under the sun. In this era of Digitalization, you have to possess some skills to back you up. And Solopreneurship is one of the best side hustles you can opt for. We can conclude that you don't have to learn rocket science to be rich; You can be rich by taking those small steps everyone is ignoring.
